The appearance of e-commerce is shifting in the present scenario towards the necessity and requisite—educational Institutions like Indira Gandhi National Open University pioneer in self-paced and technology-enabled learning. The distinguished corporate houses are trying to educate and train learners, students, and employees in e-commerce applications and technology so that it becomes part and part of their daily learning and usage. Since e-commerce is nascent, organizations face numerous challenges, and there are prospects in developing curricula for e-commerce in a big way. The world is experiencing speedy changes in the knowledge landscape. With various dramatic scientific and technological advances, such as the rise of big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, many unskilled jobs worldwide may be taken over by machines and robots, and in the n present scenario, a collaborative effort between Robots and humans known as Cobots. Keeping in mind the framework of the National Education Policy (NEthe P), School of Management Studies initiated a Skill Enhancement course to look closely into the development of curricula and teaching methods for E-commerce processes and practices to imbibe skills among its students and youth, with a greater emphasis on the development of employment opportunities and research activities.BCOS-184 is one of the Skill Enhancement (4 credits) elective courses that fall under all Semesters of B.Com (the G) preprogrammed under the CBCS scheme. The main objective of this course is to familiarize the learners with the knowledge and understanding of E-commerce. This course, by and large, makes learners acquainted with the contemporary ways of doing business and emphasizes more internet-based company and their setup. The entire 15 units have been bifurcated into five blocks.
