Changes to flag code

About Flag code:

To take up this moment prime minister Modi also made changes to the flag code recently in the year 2022. This flag code mainly determines the use of the national flag by preventing any acts which will insult our national flag. This flag code was initially made in the year 1947 and then made changes in the year 2002 and recently made changes in the year 2022. Previously the national flag is allowed to unfurl only for certain buildings and certain occasions. Also, the national flag should be hosted after sunrise and should be taken down before sunset. Now, this was changed as the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign started and requested everyone to hoist the flag from the 13th of August to the 15th of August continuously day and night.
Previously certain buildings such as schools colleges universities government offices private organizations offices party officers are the only places where are Indian flag is hosted and the remaining areas where ever the Indian flag is hosted will be considered a criminal offense and insult towards the national flag and will be punished accordingly. The new changes which are made to the flag code have changed this point and allow every single house to hoist our national flag on every auspicious occasion when the flag is hoisted previously.
The flag code made in 2002 which allows an Indian flag to be made with a particular cloth such as cotton, silk, khadi, or wool has now changed and also added an extra cloth polyester. The Indian flag which is made before this year is allowed to make only by hand as an act of supporting and encouraging handlooms in India but now it is also brought machine-made flags into action.

Controversies around the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign

The addition of polyester cloth to the list of clothes by which the Indian flag should be made has raised many controversies between the opposition parties and the people of India.
Due to the new changes made to the flag code and the campaign which is started by Narendra Modi many controversies are popping up regarding the use of polyester and the friendship between Narendra Modi and Mukesh Ambani was taken into consideration for this controversy.
No matter which leader provokes or points out the flaws of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign isn’t it a good thing to celebrate independence day as a nation without any discrimination and with equality among citizens of India?
