About the Quiz
The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is conducting a series of webinars with the overall theme of "Dekho Apna Desh". The Ministry is focusing on promoting domestic tourism as it is clear that domestic tourism will play a big role in the recovery of tourism. These webinars aim to promote various tourist spots in India, including lesser-known spots and hidden gems in more well-known locations.
In addition to tourist attractions, webinars offer insights into the heritage, crafts, gastronomy, and culture of places. The ideas of responsible tourism, barrier-free tourism, wildlife, trekking, cycling, motorbike tours, etc. have also been promoted through webinars. They endeavor to show the lesser-known India to its residents and inspire them to go there.
The Ministry is updating the database of all webinars and YouTube links to the webinars are posted on the Ministry of Tourism's Incredible India social media accounts.
Webinar participants included tourism stakeholders, students, and the general public. In total, the webinar was viewed by over 200,000 people and attended by people from over 60 different countries.
