UNICEF invites young visionaries between the ages of 15 to 25 to apply for the Youth Foresight Fellow 2025 program. About the Program

The UNICEF Youth Foresight Fellowship is designed to engage young advocates and changemakers from around the world who are passionate about education, child rights, and youth engagement. This fellowship provides an opportunity for young people to contribute to transformative research and advocacy efforts aimed at improving education systems and ensuring the rights and well-being of children globally. Fellows will have the chance to work with UNICEF experts, participate in key global discussions, and become part of a dynamic network of youth leaders.

Eligibility

• Age: Applicants must be between 15 and 25 years old.
• Interest/Experience: Demonstrated interest in education, youth engagement, or advocacy. Experience in facilitation, workshop delivery, or involvement in advocacy campaigns is a plus.
• Commitment: Availability to dedicate 7–10 hours per week from January to September 2025.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional UN languages is an advantage.
• Residency: Applicants must reside in one of the following eligible countries:
  • Algeria, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritania, Ecuador, Haiti, USA
  • Participants from UNICEF regions including Europe & Central Asia, South Asia, East Asia & the Pacific are also eligible.

Instructions

• Creative Submission: Applicants must submit a creative entry demonstrating their vision for the future of education and child rights. The submission can take the form of a short story, video, poem, song, or visual art.
• Application Process: Interested individuals can apply online through the official application portal.
• Documentation: Ensure all required personal information and submissions are included in the application.
• Deadlines: Adhere to the submission deadline to be considered for the fellowship.
