IIIT-Naya Raipur is a premier academic institute established by the joint initiative of Government of Chhattisgarh and NTPC as an institute of eminence in higher education and research in information technology and associated disciplines. The institute invites applications for the following positions:

Eligibility

Regular Faculty:

Post and Pay StructureMinimum Qualification
Assistant ProfessorGrade I Academic level 12 of7th CPC Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate discipline, with a consistently very good academic record and evidence of ability to pursue independent high-quality teaching and research.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of post-Ph.D.  teaching/ research/ industrial/ professional experience excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. Candidates should be highly motivated towards teaching and research and should have demonstrated teaching and research capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and referred conferences, patents, books, laboratory/course development and/of other recognized relevant professional activities. Candidates should be below 37 years of age.
Assistant ProfessorGrade II Academic level 10 of 7th CPC Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate discipline, with a consistently very good academic record and evidence of ability to pursue independent high quality teaching and research.
Experience: Persons so appointed shall be eligible for consideration for appointment to the position of Assistant Professor Grade-I upon fulfilment of requisite work experience.Candidates should be below   37 years of age.

Visiting Faculty:

Personnel from Universities, Academic institutes, Government R&D labs, or Industry, residing in India or abroad, including those on sabbatical leave from other institutes, or recently superannuated personnel may apply for consideration for a brief period (maximum 03 years), with remuneration and academic responsibilities at par with regular faculty members except EL encashment, LTC and NPS facilities.

Temporary Faculty:



Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in relevant discipline/ Ph.D. Thesis Submitted.

Adjunct Faculty:

Reputed academicians, scientists, engineers and other professionals, both serving and retired (from active service) may apply for consideration.

Application

Applications have to be made online using the institute portal only. Applications submitted by any other mode will not be considered. Self-attested documents in support of Qualification, experience, age and category needs to be attached while submitting the online application form.

Important dates

This is a rolling advertisement, and there is no last date. However, depending on its requirement, the institute will decide a cutoff date periodically and will screen all applications received till that date. For the current cycle, the cutoff date is March 06, 2022.

Salary

Temporary Faculty: Only consolidated monthly as mentioned below shall be payable during the period of engagement and in addition to this no special pay, DA, HRA, TA, medical allowance, etc. shall be admissible. Further, there shall be no eligibility for annual increment under such appointment. Director, at his discretion, may extend residential accommodation, telephone, travel and other facilities.
