Call for Papers: India Finance Conference (IFC) 2022 at IIM Calcutta [Dec 19-21]: Submit by Aug 16

 The India Finance Conference 2022 (IFC 2022), the annual event of the Indian Finance Association (IFA), invites papers for its eleventh edition to be held at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta from 19 – 21 December 2022.

About the Organiser

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is a public business school located in Joka, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It was the first Indian Institute of Management to be established, and has been recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India in 2017.

About the Conference

Academics, researchers, doctoral students, and practitioners are invited and encouraged to submit completed research papers in all areas of finance, accounting, governance, risk and analytics.

Pre-Conference Tutorials: Tutorial sessions will be conducted on 18 December 2022 by eminent academicians from India and abroad. The tutorial will cover emerging areas in Finance and Accounting. Tutorials will be particularly useful for research scholars and early stage academicians.

Awards

IFA Best Paper: There will be three “IFA 2022 Best Paper” awards given at the conference. The best papers will be selected from among the papers presented at the conference and chosen by a panel of experts. Total cash award USD 1000.

CFA Investment Management: The CFA Investment Management provides a platform to participants to present their contemporary research in the area of Investments and Asset Pricing. CFA Institute India has agreed to sponsor up to three “CFA Institute Investment Management Awards”. Each award comprise of a certificate and a cash award. Participants who wish to submit their full papers under this category should mention ‘CFA Investment Management’ at the top of the title page of the paper. Total cash award USD 1500.

Crisil Doctoral Symposium: The CRISIL Doctoral Symposium provides a platform to the budding researchers to present their contemporary research in the area of finance, accounting, governance, risk and analytics. The top three papers will be awarded with a certificate and a cash prize. Doctoral students who wish to submit their full papers under this category, should mention ‘CRISIL’ at the top of the title page of the paper. Total cash award USD 1000.

Poster Sessions: The poster session provides a platform to doctoral students and research scholars for presenting their research work in progress. Guidelines for poster size/length, with an example, would appear shortly on the conference website.

Submission Guidelines

PDF submissions will be preferred. The document must be in double space format using 12-point font size (in Times New Roman). The submission should contain the paper title, name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), JEL classification codes, and e-mail address of the corresponding author.
