What is Azim Premji Fellowship

The main goal of Azim Premji Fellowship is to enhance teachers' skills on all levels in order to raise educational standards and give students in government schools greater learning opportunities. Multi-modal interactions such as informal learning groups, brief conversations, seminars, school visits, exposure trips, etc. are used to support this.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting high-quality universal education, the Azim Premji Foundation offers the Azim Premji Fellowship. A chance for professionals ready to work for social change is the Azim Premji Fellowship. People from a variety of backgrounds are intended to receive educational and social sector experience through it. This fellowship is an opportunity for young Indian adventurers with 4–10 years of job experience. By participating in the Azim Premji Fellowship Program, fellows may help instructors improve their instruction and help students in government schools study more effectively.

Eligibility for Azim Premji Fellowship

• Any discipline degree.
• 4–10 years of extensive professional experience. Candidates with a strong background in academia and business are invited to apply.
• Candidates must be under 35, willing to travel within the area, and prepared for posting in the districts where we operate.
• It is required to be fluent in both English and one of the regional languages (Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, or Telugu).

What you will do during the fellowship period

As part of the fellowship programme, fellows will learn about and experience the reality of rural government schools while also exploring many facets of education. The online assessment test, which will be administered in Bangalore, Delhi, Jaipur, and Lucknow, will serve as the basis for selection. A personal interview will be scheduled at various places for candidates who pass the written test. The venues of the interviews will be announced later

Rewards through Azim Premji fellowship

• Fellows will be paid a remuneration of Rs. 35,000 per month. There will be taxes and statutory deductions.
• In addition to receiving a salary, fellows are also protected by several insurances, including health, life, and accident insurance.
• In addition, Fellows are also qualified for other benefits including relocation and housing deposit assistance.

Selection process

In 2022, candidates will be chosen by a written exam and two interviews, ideally in person. You will have a second in-person conversation with one of our Leaders in the areas nearest to you if for whatever reason none of the interviews can be conducted in person. Candidates who have been selected from the test pool will be given more information about the selection process.
