About the Contest

The Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India (GoI) launched the National Civil Aviation Policy 2016 (NCAP 2016) which aims to enhance regional air connectivity. As part of this Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS)-UDAN was launched. The full form of UDAN is Ude Desh ka Aam Nagarik and aims to develop smaller regional airports to allow common citizens easier and affordable access to aviation services.

Darbhanga Airport has emerged as the top airport in the country under UDAN Regional Connectivity Scheme and to celebrate this, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is organizing a selfie contest Darbhanga-Gateway to Mithila to bring out the best of Darbhanga Airport for the world to see.

The top 20 participants will be rewarded with INR 500/- each.

The winners will be declared and disseminated by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and will be informed on the MyGov Blog.

Submission Deadline

The competition will close on August 30, 2023.

Submission Guidelines

  • All entries must be submitted on the MyGov Platform. Entries submitted through any other medium/mode would not be considered for evaluation.
  • Entry must be submitted in clear and downloadable JPG/PNG/PDF format only and Image size should be up to 2MB.
  • A participant can send one entry only. In case it is found that any participant has submitted more than one entry, all the entries will be considered invalid.
