Project Manager

Accountable for completing projects and programs on time, under budget, and with high quality. Excellent technical knowledge of the interconnected project management process stages, such as initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close, as well as the supporting processes, such as scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, and stakeholder management, is required for the position. 

Additionally necessary are knowledge of and adherence to quality assurance, project management procedures, and portfolio management. To effectively lead and manage the project team and project stakeholders, the project manager needs to possess strong stakeholder relationship management skills.

Summary for Position

• Complete the project successfully and within the allotted time, cost, and scope.
• Carry out the necessary project management procedures, such as initiating, planning, carrying out, monitoring, controlling, and closing, as well as the supporting processes, such as managing the scope, direct and indirect costs, time, issues, risks, resources, and stakeholders.
• Create a comprehensive scope, financial, and schedule baseline for the project based on a determined need for business/senior management approval.
• Creates a strategy to direct the methodical monitoring, regulation, and management of changes in software projects.
• Keep track of and manage the work to keep the project on course and under control.
• Prepare for and control change.
• Compares the financial performance of each project's progress to its budget and makes recommendations for improvement.
• Discloses any deviations from the project's approved baseline.
• Complete the project's closure to officially accept its outcome and release the project's resources.
• Interact and talk to the stakeholders, management, and project team.
• Manage project work and resources to ensure the project's timely and successful completion.
• Conducts gate reviews and quality assurance reviews with business sponsors and all aspects of the IT organization.
• Projects that are delivered by overall business and technology strategies and architectures.
• Follow established governance procedures.

Important Roles and duties

• Finds potential points of conflict that could lead to missed deadlines; develops and puts into action a plan to alleviate budget and timeline constraints.
• Identifies potential causes of issues before they arise; defines issues or risks; chooses and implements the best available solutions with the help of the team.
• Create and oversee plans to address the opportunities, dangers, opportunities, and weaknesses of the project.
• The capacity to strike a balance between the "science" and "art" of project management, which is acquired via practice and skill development.
• The ability to analyze problems and find solutions are necessary to manage several project factors at once.
• When creating a business case, adheres to accepted policies, standards, and practices.
• Use business analytics to manage and meet the needs of your customers and sponsors.
• Directly supervises staff; assigns members responsibility; tracks progress; and regularly reports on the status of project teams made up of cross-functional, international, and virtual groups.
• As needed, coach, mentor, and assist less experienced project managers in addition to other project resources.
• Significant End-to-End Project Management experience, preferably in business and strategy.
• At least two years of RPA experience, with ten or more years of experience working in a business or corporate IT environment.
• Working knowledge of international teams.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
