Indira Gandhi single girl child scholarship program was established by the UGC to educate and strengthen women in our nation to follow this objective the government established the Indira Gandhi single girls scholarship to defray the direct cost of higher education for women especially teens who also happened to be the only child of their father the receipts of this award for a single child receive a yearly style of Rs. 36,200.

- The Female candidates must be the single child of their Parents.
- All the female candidates who are paid daughters or fraternal sisters may be eligible for this UGC grant.
- Africans must not be older than 30 when they apply to the PG program.
- The candidates accepted to the PG class using the distant education technique are not eligible for this grant.
- Additionally, there are no income restrictions to be eligible for this grant for students.
How to apply for the Indira Gandhi scholarship;
Since everything is done online, applying for a scholarship is a straightforward and uncomplicated process for applicants. Candidates can be eligible for this UGC scholarship through the official National scholarship portal. Complete the Indira Gandhi single girl child scholarship application by following the below steps.
- Candidates applying for NSP must sign up with NSP as new users for the first time
- Enter all the required information then click register.
- An application ID and password are generated for students using the registered mobile phone.
- The female applicant must use the newly created ID and code to log in to NSP.
- It is a must for applicants to change the password after receiving an OTP at their authorized phone number.
- After changing the password applicants are directed to the dashboard page, where they must tap on the application form to start the process.
- The candidates must give all necessary information including Roman, educational, basic, communication, and system information.
- The candidates must provide all the documentation required to support their identity and educational background.
Deadline for Indira Gandhi Single Child Scholarship ;
Every year there is a different line for the single female youngster scholarship announcement. However, the scholarship submission period typically starts in July each year. The deadline for the Indira Gandhi single-child scholarship is the final week of October. The last day to apply for this scholarship in 2022 is October 31st, 2022.
Indira Gandhi Award;
The selected ceased to function students get a scholarship amount of rupees 3,100 per month for 2 years, or 10 months every year covering the whole length of the post-graduate program to be pursued by the candidates.
