Applications are invited on prescribed format (On-line) for the temporary post of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for the Project entitled “Diagnostic Monitoring and Identification of Failure Root Causes of Aged High Voltage Power Cable.”

Selected candidate may enroll in Ph.D. / M. Tech (R) Programme in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Institute of Technology Rourkela based on Institute norms and regulations.

Project Title

“Diagnostic Monitoring and Identification of Failure Root Causes of Aged High Voltage Power Cable”.

Tenure

03 Years (from 22.03.2023 to 21.03.2026).

Job Description

Primary responsibility is to carry out research on the proposed project. The project student may be transformed to PhD on satisfying all the criterion of the institute and observed performance.

Eligibility

• Essential Qualifications and experience: B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering/High Voltage Engineering/Power System with 60% marks, or GATE Qualified. Stronghold in MATLAB Programming, Signal Processing Technique
• Desirable Qualifications / Exp.: B.Tech and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, GATE Qualified, Preference will be given first class all throughout the career Preference more for experience on hardware design and Signal Processing/ Soft Computing Technique
• Age: As per Institute/DST Norms.

Salary

• Rs. 31,000 + HRA (as applicable) (first 2 years)
• Rs. 35,000 + HRA (as applicable) (Third year)
