When ever I sit on your serene banks and watching your beautiful waters to flow gracefully, I am forced to write down my thoughts, feelings, and love towards you. You are not only a river, many life depends on you, you are the symbol of love and purity.

You hold many stories with you, many legend drank water from you. Your water comes from the peak of lofty Himalayas to expansive plains of Gangetic basin.

Many people worshipped you as a mother of all rivers, countless souls have sought solace in your embrace, believing in the transformation power of your divine that absorb their negativity and lead them towards enlightenment.

Pollution, encroachment and excessive exploitation, it pains me to witness the degradation cause upon you by the hands of humanity, who often overlook the invaluable treasure that you embody.

Initiatives are take place to revive your magnificence, purity of your waters and guard your sanctity. We owe to you.
