Dear River,

Through this letter of mine, I feel very happy to express my thoughts to you. I have seen you flowing through Bhavani region from my childhood days. You are one of the holy rivers in India and the main lifeline of south Indian states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Union territory of Puducherry. Many plants and animals depend upon you for their living. Even all the humans living in this place depend upon you. I really thank you because you are flowing in our region and helping us with our agriculture and our daily needs.

But on the other hand I am really sorry, because in the past and present the humans have polluted your water a lot. We have polluted your water by mixing factory waste and untreated household waste and many other ways. Even the fertilizers and pesticides have polluted your water a lot. But on the other hand, You do not care about the harm these people cause to you. You are just flowing as always , Ignoring the harms they have caused to you. I am unable to understand how you can forgot this. I really think that one day I have to learn this quality from you.

I once again thank you for all the things you have to us and for our land. And on behalf of all people I really feel very guilty about polluting your water and I ask for your forgiveness.
