Applications are invited for the position of Trainee at the Center for Creative Learning, IIT Gandhinagar, for the year 2024. The last date for application submission is July 13.

About the Position

IIT Gandhinagar is seeking applications for a temporary position of project staff at the Center for Creative Learning.

Eligibility

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Responsibilities include research, development, documentation, and facilitation of STEM content.

Candidates who do not meet these qualifications should not apply.

Desirable Qualifications:

Mathematics:

• Passion for recreational mathematics, including logical puzzles, board games, computational thinking, and designing artful math exhibits/models.
• Enjoyment of the beauty of mathematics and a keen interest in exploring literature/work related to (recreational) mathematics.
• Experience in documenting math activities in the form of videos and manuals.
• Ability to create a curriculum integrating activities, stories, and questions with the curriculum.

Science:

• Passion for hands-on experimentation, questioning and refining experiments, and the ability to research, critique, and document content from journals and other sources.
• Experience in documenting science activities in the form of videos and manuals, and facilitating sessions.
• Ability to create a curriculum integrating activities, stories, and questions with the curriculum.
• Comfort with building lab setups, mechanical/electronics models, and conducting science lab experiments.

Candidates with experience in documenting STEM content will be given preference.

Age Limit:

• Below 35 years (as of the last date of application).
