The Pilikula Biological Park Wildlife Photography Competition is part of Wildlife Week 2024, celebrated from October 2 to 8. The competition is open to participants of all ages, and the theme is Wildlife Portraits. Whether you're a professional or a hobbyist, this competition is the perfect platform to capture the essence of wildlife and contribute to nature’s preservation.

Rules & Guidelines

Here are the important rules to keep in mind:

• Open to All: The competition is open to participants of all ages.
• Original Work Only: Submissions must be your own original work.
• No Extensive Editing: Extensive manipulations (such as adding or removing elements) are not allowed.
• Photo Format: Submit your photos in JPEG or PNG format.
• No Multiple Exposures: Multiple exposure shots (where the same frame is exposed more than once) will not be accepted.
• Bird Nest Exclusion: Photos of bird nests or hatchlings are not permitted.
• No Previous Awards: Photographs that have won awards in similar competitions will not be considered.
• Raw Image Verification: RAW images will be checked to verify authenticity. The author's name should be embedded in the file.
• No Watermarks: Submitted photos must not contain watermarks or names.
• Agreement: By entering, you agree that your photos may be used by Pilikula Biological Park for display and promotional purposes.

Things to Do Before Submission

• Date and Location: Specify the date and location where the photo was taken.
• Short Caption: Add a brief caption describing your photograph.
• Participant Details: Include your name and passport-sized photo along with your Instagram handle for social media promotion.

All accepted photos will be displayed at Pilikula Biological Park during Wildlife Week, helping to spread the message of conservation.

Prizes

The Top 3 Winners will receive E-certificates for their achievement, and participation certificates will be given to all participants.
