About Quiz

India has a long history of customs and traditional knowledge that spans several Science & Technology (S&T) fields and affects all facts of daily life. For thousands of years, Indian traditional knowledge has been transmitted orally and through a variety of classical texts, manuscripts, and other media. Some of the traditional activities are the concerned knowledge holders' sources of subsistence. Indian traditional traditions balance human needs with the requirements of the natural world. Traditional culture is essential to the growth and advancement of any nation.

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is driving the efforts to cooperate with important partners from throughout the nation under the visionary leadership of our Hon'ble Prime Minister and President, CSIR Society, Shri Narendra Modi. A nationwide program called SVASTIK (Scientifically Validated Societal Traditional Wisdom) aims to share India's traditional knowledge with society. The national initiative to foster citizen confidence in the scientific values of our traditional knowledge/practices is being carried out by the CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NISCPR). As part of this endeavor, simplified creative information on Indian traditional knowledge/practices with a scientific foundation is being shared on all widely used social media platforms in various Indian languages.

Rules and Regulations

1. The National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research and My Gov are the organizations behind the quiz (CSIR-NIScPR).
2. The quiz is open to participants of any nationality and from anywhere in the world.
3. The candidates will have 600 seconds to complete the quiz, which consists of 10 questions.
4. As soon as a participant clicks the Start Quiz button, the quiz will begin.
5. Your name, email address, phone number, and postal address must be provided. You are granting permission for the use of your contact information for the quiz's purposes by providing it.
6. An entry cannot be deleted after it has been submitted.
7. Each participant may only take part once.
8. Due to computer malfunctions or other errors outside of the organizers' reasonable control, they will not be held responsible for entries that are misplaced, received late, incomplete, or not delivered at all.
9. The Quiz's organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel it at any time in the event of unanticipated events. This includes the right to change these terms and conditions, for the avoidance of doubt.
10. The Participant is required to follow all guidelines when taking part in the Quiz from time to time.
11. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify or restrict participation to any participant if they believe the participant's participation or association will harm the quiz, the organizers, or the quiz's partners. If the organizers receive registration information that is not legible, lacking, damaged, incorrect, or inaccurate, the registrations are void.
12. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the Quiz organizer's decision; it will be final and binding.
13. The Indian judicial system's laws shall govern these terms and conditions.
14. By taking the quiz, the participant accepts and consents to be bound by the aforementioned Terms and Conditions.
